Changing Access Numbers

Remember to check with your local telephone company to make sure that the number you choose is a local toll-free call. aNet is not responsible for charges on your phone bill.

1. From the Apple menu, point to Control Panels and choose PPP.
2. In the Name text box, type your loginname. For National Access type loginname@anet.net
3. In the Password text box, type your password.
4. In the Number text box, type the new local aNet access number. Remember to check with your local telephone company to make sure that the number you choose is a local toll-free call. aNet is not responsible for charges on your phone bill.
5. Click the Connect button.

 

Free PPP Setup

1. Click the Apple menu and point to Control Panels.
2. Point to FreePPP Setup and release the mouse button.
3. Click the arrow below the telephone icon.

   

4. Select the name of your account.
5. Click the Accounts tab.

   

6. In the Phone number text box, type your local dial-up access number. Remember to check with your local telephone company to make sure that the number you choose is a local toll-free call.
7. Click the OK button to accept the changes.
   

   

8. At the FreePPP Setup window, click the Close button.
