Configuring Dial-up Only Step 1 Click the Start button Click the Control Panel icon Double-click the Network and Internet connections icon Click on the Make New Connection icon Step 2 Displays the Welcome to the Internet Wizard Click Next Step 3 Click on the circle with the message Connect to the Internet; the black dot should be inside the circle. Click Next Step 4 Click on the circle with the message Set up my connection manually; the black dot should be inside the circle Click Next Step 5 Click on the circle with the message Connect using a dial-up modem Click Next Step 6 For your ISP Name enter Connection to aNet. Click Next Step 7 Enter the correct local area Dial-up number. Click Next Step 8 Enter your User name Enter your Password Reenter the password for confirmation Note:Usernames and passwords are established when subscription with aNet begins. If you dont have access to your Login/Pass information please contact aNet. Ensure all three of the check boxes are checked Click Next Step 9 You have completed the dial-up connection Check the box next to Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop if you want a shortcut to this dialer placed on your desktop. Click Finish
